D-626, Notice of Acceptability of Work—Design-Build, is a critical document used by Owners to formally notify Design-Builders that all work on a project has been deemed acceptable, enabling the Design-Builder to apply for final payment. This document ensures clarity and compliance by explicitly stating that the notice is not a guarantee or warranty of performance and does not waive the Design-Builder’s obligations under the contract.
